Date:
October 2, 2015 - 5:00pm

Date: 10/2/15 Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Location: SE 160

In Partnership With:

Society of Physics Students

Description:

Arduino is an open-source prototyping platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. There are many applications to arduinos and during the Arduino series you will be exposed to different Arduino projects with the goal that a student will be able to create their own Arduino projects.

We will be building a weather station in this Arduino session by introducing a new component called DHT11. DHT11 will provide temperature and humidity sensing capabilities to your Arduino. The same compenent will be used in the advanced course following this session to run more complicated circuits (such as LCD) in future projects.

Pizza will be served for registered students. If this skill session is full please e-mail esl@ucmerced.edu if there is an option of a waitlist.
