ESW Biographies for Fall 2014

	Eric Chu, Team Leader Eric is a third year student at UC Merced studying Economics and Business Economics & Management, with a concentration in Strategy and Finance. His primary focuses for KivaGreen are to grow environmentally mindful and sustainable businesses, and help finance entrepreneurs around Merced. Aside from KivaGreen, Eric likes to spend his time camping, hiking, volunteering for community-based activities organized by his church, and playing chess. He is also a Student Assistant for the Students Assessing Teaching and Learning (SATAL) Program at the university and a Reader for Professor Jason Lee.
	Dillon Watts, Deputy Leader Dillon is a first year student at the University of California, Merced studying Computer Science and Engineering, with an emphasis in Software Development. His primary focus for ESW is to expedite the growth of businesses that are both environmentally friendly and successful. Aside from ESW, Dillon spends his time learning programming languages and reading about finance. He is also a member of the Archery team at UC Merced and a member of the Association of Computing Machinery.
	Kaycee Chang, Green Badge Sub-Team Leader Kaycee is a first-year student at the University of California Merced studying environmental engineering. Her main focus for Kiva Green is to spread awareness of the importance and benefits of being sustainable. Aside from Kiva Green, Kaycee spends her time volunteering at senior centers and hiking. She is also a member of Engineers for Sustainable World and The American Cancer Society.
	Huey Vu, Energy Audit Sub-Team leader Huey is a third year student at the Universityof California Merced studying Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis in designing. His primary focus for Engineer for Sustainable World (E.S.W) is to provide understanding on equipment and technological aspects of the team. Aside from E.S.W, Huey spends his time managing his dance club. He is also a dancer who has competed in many dance competitions outside and within the university.
	Jonathan Gonzalez, Communications Officer Jonathan is a fourth year at the University of California, Merced studying Earth System Science with a minor in Writing. His primary focus for Kiva Green is to create a friendly work environment by effective organization of team communication. Aside from Kiva green, Jonathan spends his time volunteering in community service with his fraternity and attending writing conference in order to improve his writing both professionally and creatively.
	Manuel Zaragoza, Webmaster Manuel is a second year student at the University of California Merced studying Mechanical Engineering. His primary focus for Kiva Green is grows a network of engineer that focuses the environment. Aside from Kiva Green, Manuel spends his time in SHPE, AIAA, and MESA LAB. In his spare time he learn how to use Net-logo and AutoCAD.
	Julia Morocco, Intellectual Property Officer Julia is a second year student at the University of California Merced studying Biological Sciences, with an emphasis on Human Biology. Her primary focus for Kiva Green is to encourage and develop as many eco-friendly businesses possible. Aside from Kiva Green, Julia spends her time volunteering at Cove Center for Visual Enhancement in Merced and practices yoga. She is also on the event staff for the recreation and athletics department on campus and is apart of the UC Merced Delta Gamma Fraternity.
	Alan Alonso, Inventory and Finance Officer & Finance Sub-Team Leader Alan is a fifth year student at the University of California Merced studying Earth System Science with an emphasis in Environmental Sustainability. His primary focus for Kiva Green is to apply his environmental knowledge to develop green sustainable businesses. Aside from Kiva Green Alan spends his time volunteering for community-based activities, cultivating a college mindset at his tutoring job and making music. He is also a founder of Sigma Delta Alpha, co-founder of United We Stand and the Billiards club of UC Merced.
	Juan Castrejon, Finance Team Member Juan is a sixth year student at the University of California Merced studying Mechanical Engineering. His/her primary focus for KivaGreen is to help local businesses become more environmentally mindful. Aside from KivaGreen, Juan spends his time volunteering at the Girls and Boys club, as well as working part time at a High School.
	Jesus Gamboa, Student Advisory Committee Officer Jesus is a fifth year student at the University of California Merced studying Mechanical Engineering. His primary focus for Kiva Green is to provide a comfortable environment for team members to work efficiently and ergonomically. Aside from Kiva Green, Jesus spends his time working actively in various clubs on campus and tutoring high school kids from his home town in the spare time. He is also a member of the Society of Hispanic Engineers and President of his Fraternity chapter.
