Date: 10/12/15 Time: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM Location: KL 202

In Partnership With:

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)

In this introduction to CAD Modeling you will be introduced to a CAD program called AutoCAD.

Computer Aided Design (CAD) software can be used to create exciting and unique 3D creations using 3-D printers.  This workshop provides an introduction to 3-D parametric solid modeling, given by hands on exercises in the CAD software AutoCAD. After completing this workshop you should be able to create 2-D sketches, create 3-D features from 2-D sketches, and have a basic understanding how to create complete 3-D models.  Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to bring their creations to life using a 3-D printer.

Lunch will be served for registered students. If you have any questions about a waitlist please e-mail
