March 4, 2015 - 2:00pm to 3:30pm

Computer Aided Design (CAD) software is used to create three-dimensional items using exciting 3-D printers. This workshop provides an introduction to 3-D parametric solid modeling through hands-on exercises in the CAD software Pro Engineer. After completing this workshop you should be able to create 2-D sketches, create 3-D features from 2-D sketches and have a basic understanding of how to create complete 3-D models. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to bring their creations to life using a 3-D printer.
