GIS experience is not required, but you will need to set up an ESRI global account before October 9th.

No, GIS experience is not required but come with project ideas on your mapping story.
What if I can't make it to the workshop?
Please leave a message with sparc@ucmerced.edu, we have had to turn away several interested students then have no-shows to our workshops. Although the workshop is free, please do not take a slot unless you know you can attend.
