In the coming years, downtown Merced will have a number of transportation hubs, namely Merced County Transit, California high-speed rail, Altamont Corridor Express, and Amtrak. The Civic Innovation team will work with the Merced City Planning Department to create a proposal for the City of Merced that reviews the proposed transportation hubs in downtown Merced and makes recommendations for innovations to the downtown area that capitalize on these transportation hubs. Undergraduate through graduate students may apply. This project is projected for 1 to 2 semesters. Team member time commitment is for 1 semester.
