The Bobcat Radio Engineering Service Learning team was created in order to develop a blueprint that any organization could utilize to create a functioning streaming radio station; and if within their means, create an FM broadcast. Their goal is to present this blueprint to the team's client, the Bobcat Radio Student Service, so they can successfully integrate themselves as a part of the identity of Merced and UC Merced.
The team has used Bobcat Day as a test run of using the stream and website. Moving forward, the team is finalizing the website. The team has decided to dedicate their efforts to the website by having the whole team work on it. The FCC documents are still in the process of being filed.
The team will use the rest of the semester to get the website to be presentable and functional for the Bobcat Radio Student Service so that they broadcast.
