Description:
Arduino is an open-source prototyping platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. There are many applications to arduinos and during the Arduino series you will be exposed to different Arduino projects with the goal that a student will be able to create their own Arduino projects.
The advanced Arduino lesson will teach students to build a simple obstacle-avoiding robot (a.k.a RosieBot), using a distance sensor and a motorized robot chassis that is controlled by an Arduino. Students will assemble their own chassis, and program the Arduino under guidance of an instructor.
Pizza will be served for registered students.
