The PG&E Engineering Service Learning Laboratory is a mixed-use space dedicated to supporting Engineering Service Learning instruction at UC Merced.
Through a generous gift from Pacific Gas & Electric, the PG&E Engineering Service Learning Laboratory offers physical lab space devoted to all Engineering Service Learning activities within the School of Engineering. It is also the home of The Foster Family Center for Engineering Service Learning.
The PG&E Lab is accessible 24 hours a day for students to hold team meetings and work on their service-learning projects. As part of the course, Engineering Service Learning teams hold weekly two-hour meetings in the lab where they build prototypes, hold conferences with mentors, and collaborate with one another.
