Andres Escalante, Assistant Project Manager

Andres Escalante is a senior at the University of California: Merced, pursuing an Environmental Engineering degree. Andres is the current assistant project manager for the San Joaquin River Engineering Service Learning team. He is involved in environmental stewardship programs like the Yosemite Leadership Program and the Vernal Pool and Grassland Reserve Naturalist training course inside the UC.

He believes environmental stewardship is very important to issues like water conservation and biodiversity degradation. He joined the San Joaquin River service learning team in hopes of getting more hands on experience involving environmental stewardship and aspires to continue his carrier promoting environmental conservation.
