Brian Deloera Team Leader Brian is a third year Environmental Engineering major at the University of California, Merced. Brian has dedicated a lot of time in various leadership positions within the SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) organization. He has hobbies in many areas such as music, martial arts and comic book writing. His skills include communication, problem solving and has the perseverance to achieve his goals that he sets upon himself. |

Celeste Navarrete Deputy Leader, Outreach Leader Celeste is majoring in Environmental Engineering. Currently in her second semester of the 3rd year at the University of California, Merced. Currently is the Vice President of Taekwondo Club and soon to be the president. She has been training through the semesters to work on her black belt and to be a stronger leader. Other hobbies include traditional and digital art sketches. As for skills, she is charismatic, easily approachable, and optimistic. Can solve problems and determined to have any task completed at 110%. |

Myvi Nguyen Co-webmaster, Outreach Team Myvi is a third year Earth Systems Science major at the University of California, Merced. She is currently involve in different organizations such as Vietnamese Student Association (VSA), Hmong Student Association (HAS), and Omega Leo. She was part of Engineering Service Learning, specifically in the Vernal Pool Team, this past semester. She had phenomenal experiences with the previous team and wishes to join another environmental-based team among the Engineering Service Learning Program in order to learn more about the San Joaquin River as well as raise awareness for its impacts. By being a part of this team, she hopes to gain leadership, cooperation, and communication skills in order to prepare her for future careers. |

Adrian Garibay Intellectual Property Officer, Outreach Team Adrian is a fifth year Environmental Engineering major at the University of California, Merced. Throughout his academic career, Adrian has held a leadership position in El Club de Español, worked as a Wastewater Treatment Engineering Intern with Heron Innovators, as well as interned in Dr. Fogel’s Stable Isotopes Lab. His hobbies consist of traveling, playing sports, and learning about the reduction of agricultural inputs. His skills include problem solving, biogeochemistry, and wastewater treatment. |

Margarita Morelos Margarita is studying Environmental Engineering. This is currently her last semester at the University of California, Merced. Margarita has been involved in research pertaining to ecosystems while attending the University of California, Merced where she has gained a better appreciation for the surrounding environment. Her hobbies include taking long walks, reading and dancing. Margarita’s strengths include her dedication and commitment to accomplishing her goals. |

Fernando Castanda Fernando is a fourth year Earth System Science major at the University of California, Merced. He is currently events chair, ICC chair, and recruitment chair for the Weight Lifting Club on campus. His hobbies include martial arts, weightlifting, and hiking. He is interested in river hydrology and hopes that the SJR project will give him essential skills to utilize in a future career. |

Ingrid Henderson Outreach Team Ingrid is a fourth year Environmental Engineering major at the University of California, Merced. Ingrid has had an internship with the Public Utilities Department at the City of Modesto. Her hobbies range from collecting vinyls to practicing Pilates to studying the Bible. He works on campus doing web development for CITRIS, as well as volunteering as the technical lead for Bobcat Radio. William Steinert As a fifth year Earth System Science Major at the University of California Merced, William has gained a variety of skills not only in the field of natural sciences. These include, problem solving, working well in a team, both as a leader and a supporting member, time management/ assessment, along with numerous other skills that he has collected through his college career. William has a wide variety of hobbies such as Kayaking, Snow boarding, and computer/tabletop gaming. |

Agustin Roldan Agustin lives for the pursuit of knowledge. Currently studying Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Writing, he invests his time in understanding the inner workings of creative thought and expression through knowledge acquisition. Before serving as a team member within the San Joaquin River Service Learning Group, he has served as President for the Society of Automotive Engineers, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and The Entrepreneurial Society at UC Merced. Having held leadership positions in the fields of grant writing, engineering and logistics; he hopes to contribute to the successful completion of the interactive kiosk. Others describe Agustin as a terribly enthusiastic individual without the decency to give up on even his most absurd dreams. |
