Cell City |
The main focus of the Cell City project is to help students understand all the different functions of the cell organelles. We created a worksheet that will help us in achieving that goal. The worksheet requires the students to define all the different cell organelles and match them with a diagram with city infrastructures depending on the functions that infrastructure provides. To access the cell city worksheet please click here. In this project, we prioritize that student knows the core differences between an animal cell and a plant cell. The students will be answering questions about the differences in animal and plant cells. We will also be creating a gelatin model for the students to have a hands-on activity where they will be putting in pieces of candy into the model so they know where all the cell organelles are in an animal or plant cell.
