Tuolumne County Economic Development Authority
The Captivated Thinking Engineering Service Learning team is designing a software program to create an economic snapshot for rural counties within California. The snapshot tool reduces the current time to generate these reports by 90%, is expected to save the Tuolumne County over $500,000, and will be shared with additional rural counties across California.
Creating an overview of the Tuolumne county economy
The Captivated Thinking team has teamed up with our partners, inmates in the Sierra Conservation Center to distribute the preliminary tasks of the project. The collective team is in the process of developing specifications that will outline what a successful snapshot tool will output.
