Merced Children’s Museum
With only 13% of Merced County residents earning a 4-year college degree, the Merced Children’s Museum Engineering Service Learning team is working to improve graduation rates in Merced County by provide residents with an informal education venue to support formal K-12 educational efforts. The team is designing a traveling tabletop exhibit that illuminates how solar panels convert light energy from the sun into usable power for modern life.
